Take your organization and planning to a new level in a popular Space Opera 4X board game with this 3D printed fully modular player command console. Raising the faction sheet, command sheet, cards, and components safely off the table while adding turn planning functionality and consolidating your footprint on the table.

This set of STL files will allows you the flexibility to produce as many components as you need for one player to bring with you to games, or all 8 players. All components have spaces for 3mm x 1mm rare earth magnets to secure the components of the console together but allow for easy swapping of components during play.

Begin with the Faction Sheet holder and insert the command sheet holder into either the left or right side. Then start adding the peices you would like during play;

Basis Command Console set up with planners

The various planners for Production, Leadership, and Technology allow you to plan ouot your turn without the possibility of misusing valuable resources or missing following a strategy card becuase you overspent on something else.

The Production planner

Production Planner with a few of the Unit Production Capacity tiles

Use this component to plan out production during your turn, whether its planning the secondary of warfare on your home system or activating your forward dock later in your turn, you'll know you have the avialable resources to produce with slots to set aside the planets and a tray to hold the requisite trade goods. The main tray has a space to put a numbered tile that represents the unit capacity maximum of that space dock in the given system and there is plenty of room to set the actual units you plan on producing for whent he time comes. The tiles number from 2 through 15 to cover all your produciton capacity values.

The Leadership Planner

Leadership Planner

The leadership planner allows you to allocate sleeved planet cards and trade goods for the use of the Leadership card. Make sure you have enough Influence to get the command tokens you will need to this rounds actions.

The Technology Planner

Technology Planner

Plan ahead for this round's technology research. There are slots for 1 or 2 sleeved technology cards as well as slots for sleeved plant cards to allocate the needed 4 or 6 resources. As with the othe rplanners there is also a tray for trade goods you may optionally use.

General Card Holders

General Card Holder

Holds all the sleeved card component sin a compact and in two possible vertical positions. Use it to hold your sleeved planet cards so you can see them all. Slots are large enough to hold the Speaker Token and your Strategy Card pick(s) as well. You can also use them to keep your Action Cards, Promisory Notes, and Secret Objectives.....well secret, with two slots that also angle the cards forward and down to prevent player peaking. Also use the forward anglign slots for exhausted planet cards.

Research Technology Card Display

 Display your research/gained Technology cards.

Keep all your technology cards that you have researched/gained through the game in this component. The main component has 12 slots for sleeved cards. Or you can extend it with another slotted component if yoou want to add another 12 spots and separate your tech by their color. Thats enough slots for fishy faction to gather even the PoK techs in their technological dominance.

Additionall there is a general play area component in the caase you require to play cards face up or need keep some cards completely face down.

Printing a Faction sheet holder, Command Sheet holder, each planner, 4 generic card holders, 2 generic play areas and eventually the Leader Sheet holder will use about 3/4 of a roll of 1kg plastic depending on your slicer settings. Plan on 168 3mm x 1mm magnets per the above set up (180 when the Leader Sheet holder is made available in the set when the Seller finally has PoK to make sure the sheet fits. It will be added to this set and you will get a notification email of the update).

The only component that requires any supports will be the Faction Sheet holder. Using the basic support  generation in your slicer should allow for the space to be printed and allow for the command sheet holder to slide neatly into the Faction holder on each side. 20% infill is recommended and standard .2 layer height and .4 nozzel will produce good results.

What's the recommended pattern for installing magnets? Make the main sheet one pole and everything else the other? Alternate?
Thanks!

Added in the Leader Sheet Holder from the recent expansion. Print the left and right, or if you have a large enough build plate, print the full version.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
